Dollar Bank Security
With all the Internet
scams and identity theft issues, we feel it's important to let you know
what we're doing in an effort to help you keep your personal and financial
information secure.
Dollar Bank consistently monitors
security issues by reviewing updates issued by the
CERT® Coordination Center and other
organizations. We take a proactive approach when it comes to keeping your
financial information safe by updating our systems with the latest
security software and hardware technologies including firewalls and
filters. We will also keep you informed of any issues by updating our
website with relevant articles.
Please review the security
guidelines below that Dollar Bank has in place so you know what questions
and information to expect when receiving information from us via e-mail.
| Dollar Bank
will never send you an e-mail requesting your personal information,
account information, Online Banking password or ATM
PIN. |
| The only time we may ask you
these types of questions is when you contact us in person or by
phone requesting a banking transaction (for example, new account
opening request, loan application, transaction between two accounts,
etc.) or when logging into Online Banking. This information is
matched against our customer record for verification. |
| If you ever encounter this
situation outside of these circumstances, or in an e-mail that
appears to be from Dollar Bank, please contact our Customer Service
Department immediately at 1-800-828-5527, Monday - Friday,
8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday, 9:00 AM to
3:00 PM. |

| Dollar Bank
will never send you an e-mail that includes a link to a
website (except an unsubscribe link, if required by law). |
| Recent Internet fraud
attempts have included e-mail messages with a linked website
address, which when clicked takes you directly to a website created
to mimic that of a reputable company. The false website may
encourage visitors to enter personal information including account
numbers, passwords or PINs. This information could then be used to
gain unauthorized access to the visitor's accounts. |
| To ensure that you reach
Dollar Bank's website, we ask you to type any URL or website address
we provide into the address line of your browser. This prevents you
from being inadvertently redirected to a different
website. Some Dollar Bank e-mails may include an unsubscribe link
that will only request your e-mail address should you choose to
change your e-mail prefernce. |
| As an additional step to
ensure legitimate and safe access to your account information, we
recommend always beginning your login at our homepage,
www.dollarbank.com.
